DMMI newsletter wins award

BATTLE CREEK—Shop Talk, the quarterly employee newsletter of DENSO Manufacturing Michigan Inc., has received a Silver Quill Award of Merit from the International Association of Business Communicators, District 7, which includes Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. The newsletter won the award in the category of “Writing, Special Projects” for a special 2001 edition that focused on health care costs. In North America, DENSO employs more than 13,000 people at 21 companies, joint ventures, and affiliates. Globally, DENSO leads advances in automotive electronics, as well as systems for electronic fuel injection and automotive heating and cooling systems. ###
